Since 1996 Brazilian Mirian Vilelas has been working with the Earth Charter movement to promote the United Nations’ sustainability goals. She is now the Executive Director of the Earth Charter International Secretariat and the Center for Education for Sustainable Development at UPEACE. Earth Charter has produced many educational webinars in cooperation with EcoCiv and others. Learn more of Earth Charter’s work, including the roll out of a new Human Development Index and preparations for the UN Climate Summit in Glasgow in November.
