Fasnacht Lecture Featuring John Cobb

John B. Cobb, Jr. is an American philosopher, theologian, and environmentalist. He is often cited as one of the most important North American theologians of the twentieth century. Co-founder of the Center for Process Studies, and Professor Emeritus of Claremont School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University, Cobb is a preeminent scholar in the school of thought associated with the philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead and the notion of ecological civilization. He is author/ editor of more than fifty books, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Science–one of the nation’s highest honors.
