In this four-session learning circle we will read and discuss the writings of various nature authors, such as Loren Eiseley, Mary Oliver, John Muir, and others as a means to learn more about nature and process thought.

In this course we will identify and analyze dominant assumptions about the human and more-than-human natural world, critiquing and reshaping them from the standpoint of process-relational and other traditions of thought. We will explore these assumptions through case studies, readings and videos, presentations by experts, student projects, and probing conversations.

This learning circle will continue our study of process thought for those of us beginning our journey on the path of continuous change. We will meet three times to discuss the book What is Process Thought? Seven Answers to Seven Questions, by Jay McDaniel, and then wrap up the learning circle with a Q&A with the author.
