Kathleen,
I have appreciated your insights and questions posed in the classes that you and I have shared. I have sought out your poetry and have found it moving, engaging, and challenging in how it opens the door to new ways of perceiving the world and reality. Thank you so much for all you do and offer!
All the best,
Scott - R. Scott HarrisonParticipant
Hello, Zhenbao,
You have a very interesting background and many unique gifts to offer to others! I always appreciate your insights and perspectives in every class session that you and I are in together. I look forward to engaging with more of your work and to learning more from you as we continue to learn in different contexts together!
All the best,
Scott - R. Scott HarrisonParticipant
Hello, Charles and Douglas (Scott),
A a spiritual (and, formerly, religious) sojourner myself, I find both of your thoughts and experiences fascinating! I hope to learn more from each of you.
All the best,
Scott - R. Scott HarrisonParticipant
Douglas,
Thank you so much for your introduction and for sharing your experience and insights. You seem to operate on a much-higher intellectual plane than I, as do many other participants, but I am, nevertheless, amazed and appreciative of your many questions and perspectives in each class you have participated in where I have been present. As time goes on, I look forward to hearing more about how you view the work of Whitehead and other process thinkers with regard to mathematics and quantum physics.
All the best,
Scott - R. Scott HarrisonParticipant
David,
I somehow missed your reply to me above till now! Thank you so much for your thoughts and insights above! Your experience sounds fascinating. To be a fly on the wall in that room when Charles Birch debated the Anglican evangelical priest would be interesting!
I heartily agree with you that the problems of evil and suffering and the process responses to both are impressive and, I believe, far more rational than those offered by orthodox Christian traditions in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, at least. The process perspective is also more logical to me than that offered by an atheist response (or reaction).
Thanks again for sharing your perspective and thinking on these matters!
All the best,
Scott - R. Scott HarrisonParticipant
Douglas,
I’m very late in reading other participants’ introductions from he first and second course, but I just read yours and wanted to say how much I appreciate your humility as well as your insights, questions, and unique perspective that you bring to classes. It would be great to hear more of your experiences sometime, if there is ever an opportunity. All the best to you in this process of being and becoming!

Ryan,
I’m late in reviewing introductions from the first course to learn more about other participants, but I appreciate your insights, your sharing, and your work. It all sounds fascinating. All the best to you and your family!

Gordon,
This is a very late response, as I am only now reading your introduction from the first course. I want to thank you for your sharing, insights, and humility. You are certainly a very accomplished person, but I also am impressed by your laidback and deferential approach to life and to others. Thank you!
Scott

Daniel,
I only came upon your introduction to the first course just now, but I found it very moving on many levels. Thank you so much for opening up and sharing your insights, experience, and perspectives!
Warm regards,
Scott - R. Scott HarrisonParticipant
Evan,
I would strongly echo your thoughts about how well Jay did with this course! He is a wonderful teacher, writer, facilitator, and thinker. Thanks, Jay!

Dr. Davis,
Indeed this is a thoughtful and inspiring response! It opens the door for me to reflect on some of the Hebrew Psalms and perhaps on other writings with the help of scholars’ interpretations and consideration of process thought in ways that are engaging in ways I had not thought to consider before now.
Scott

Dennis,
Thanks for the recommendation. I’d be curious what your thoughts are on the book once you have finished it.
Regards,
Scott - R. Scott HarrisonParticipant
Dennis,
I forgot to mention that going to and reading the article at https://www.thiscollosal.com is well worth it alongside watching the video.

Dennis,
Thanks so much for sharing! I find this fascinating and beautiful. I have long felt that plants communicated with each other and with other species in ways we in parts of the Western world typically have overlooked and not understood in light of our modern rationalistic training and worldviews.

Thank you very much, Leslie!
