Thank you kind sir. You are the glue that holds this thing altogether. And a brilliant scholar in your own right to boot.

Hi Kent, I’ve enjoyed your comments on the forum, and I enjoy that you are here with this group of people to explore more deeply Whitehead’s thought with us.

Hi Mike, Whitehead summons indeed. Not only philosophers, but thinkers from every knowledge base formed by man. The diversity of thought referencing Whitehead never ceases to amaze me’
    Welcome Mike,

Hi Jace, welcome. I’ve already badgered you in the discussion forms. Sorry, I didn’t mean it in a negative way. I really am glad you’ve joined the program. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Hi Rolla, I identify strongly with your bricolage and would add a flurry of other hyphenates as well. I’m glad you’ve joined us here.

Hey Ben, I think I just saw you at the WRP HL2 conference. Right? Anyway, if you’re that guy, I’m glad you’re here with us.
If you’re not then nevermind. No seriously, even if I didn’t see you at the conference, I’m sure you’re still alright. :/

Hi Jen, Sounds like we have a number of interests in common. And I still haven’t figured out the answer to that question. Or even if I want to grow up.
    Glad you’re here,
    Thomas

Hi Lu, I am just slightly envious of the small village you live in. I wish my village were more like that.
I know there is much to learn from Chinese/East Asian culture and thought. I’m excited to hear more of your thinking.

  • in reply to: Introduction, Elvi Bjorkquist #15579

    Hi Elvi,
I identify very strongly with your sense of loss re: the phd. I sort of “chickened out” on going further in grad school, couldn’t figure out how to keep the peeps fed, so I went back to my tools to support my family. I can’t say I regret that decision, but I do feel the loss every day.
I, too, am enrolled in the cert program for much the same reason as you.
    Happy you’re here,
    Thomas

  • in reply to: Justin Alford Intro #15577

  • in reply to: Hello! #15576

    Hi Jace,
Nothing like a couple of rescue hounds. I think they make the best buds sometimes.
    Glad you’re here,

  • in reply to: Hello Process People! #15575

Hi Clarissa, I think you’ll find a good group here for discussions. Seems to be a lot of erudite postings already.
    Welcome,
    Thomas
