Announcement: Dr. Cobb & Course Update

November 7, 2019

Hello Course Members,

John Cobb is still recovering from his fall, and his voice is a little bit hoarse, but he’s feeling well enough to teach this week. So we’re planning to meet at our regular time on Saturday morning (11/9, 9:00-11:00am, Pacific Time).

For this week, our plan is to pick up right where we left off, so the main topic will be the same one that was scheduled for last Saturday: Nature as Having Value in Itself vs. Nature as Only Resources for Us. So, rather than completely cancelling last week’s session, we’re going to extend the course an extra week. That also means the final week will be December 21st rather than December 14th. We realize that may conflict with schedules due to the holidays, but, as always, the last session will be recorded if you aren’t able to attend/watch live. As you’ll see when you visit the course web page, the schedule has been updated with the changes.

Lastly, just a reminder to those who will be viewing online: please login to the website sometime today or tomorrow to make sure everything is working okay for you, and to avoid running into any problems on Saturday morning. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything.

Hope to see you on Saturday.
