Announcement: Final Course Update

December 19, 2019

Hello Cobb Course Members,

Just a quick reminder that this is the final week of the course, so this Saturday (12/21) will be our final class session. As always, if you aren’t able to be there in person or watch the livestream the recording will be available for you to watch anytime. Rest assured that you’ll continue to have access in perpetuity. And for anyone who’s interested in pursuing the topics we discussed further, I’m going to post a short bibliography on the course page sometime in the next week or two.

If any of you are wondering what our plans are next, we’ve been considering a lot of interesting ideas about how the Learning Lab can become a valuable resource for more people, and we’re confident that this little adventure has an enormous amount of potential. And although we aren’t quite ready to announce the details just yet, I can share with you that Dr. Cobb will be back in the Lab next spring performing a whole new experiment. If everything goes according to plan, you’ll be getting an announcement about that before the new year.

Thank you so much for your participation and patience in our inaugural course. It’s been a pleasure to connect with and learn from you, and we hope, despite the hiccups and shortcomings, that you’re experience was an enjoyable one. We’ll be sending out a short survey at the beginning of the new year so that you can let us know what you liked and what suggestions you have for improvement.

We hope you have a wonderful time celebrating the upcoming holidays, and wish you the very best in 2020.
