Thanks Mike I guess I am wondering about the whole hierarchy and wondering more about a continuum of knowing that holds a difference in knowledge without assessing as lesser. Thanks for drawing my attention to the “monarch” comment….also don’t love frame on hierarchy. 🙂

This is an interesting thread. Is there any way in which eternal objects can be likened to archetypes?

I always find it helpful, regarding actual entities or occasions, to be reminded of their momentary arrival and perishing. State of being/objectification is such a primary paradigm in our culture. Is it appropriate to say that each actual occasion participates in a state of becoming for organisms such as my dog, Smokey, whose becoming is a possible because of a complex of occasions? Is this nexus?
