He Te’a, good questions. The meaning of the codes are as follows:
- b = bold
- i = italics
- link = link to another web page
- b-quote = block quote (used for long quotes)
del= strikeout- img = image tag (to share an image in a post)
- ul = unordered (bullet) list
- ol = ordered (numbered) list
- li = list item
- code = display html code in post (e.g.,
<strong>normally that code makes the text bold, but surrounding it with the code marks will display the HTML instead</strong>) - close tags = will automatically add a closing HTML tag
As you’ve discovered, while you’re typing, you see the codes, but after you submit the post the codes will not appear (e.g., in the editor, it will look like this:
<strong>bold text</strong>but after you submit your post, it will look like this: bold text).Hope that helps.

Hi John, Thanks for reaching out. The recording is available via the session page now. Let me know if you run into any difficulties accessing or viewing it.

There are links to purchase the book from Amazon or download a PDF on the course page.

Hi John,
Thanks for checking. I believe the readings for Physics of the World-Soul, are as follows:
– Session 1: ix-47 = last 2 paras of preface thru end of chapter 3
– Session 2: 51-92 = chapters 4 thru 6
– Session 3: 93-120 = chapters 7 thru 8
– Session 5: 123-149 = chapters 9 thru 10I sent a message to Matt to confirm with him that’s correct, and will let you know if any of them aren’t. As soon as I receive confirmation from him, I’ll add the additional information to the syllabus and session pages to make sure that others will know.

Hi David, thanks for letting me know. The recording was available, but for some reason the session page wasn’t displaying the update/changes. I double-checked and the page is showing the link to the recording now. Please let me know if you run into any more difficulties accessing it. Good luck!

Hi Bill, can you say a little more about what you’re trying to do? The only weekly assignments that I’m aware of are discussion forum posts for students in the certificate program, and your posting here indicates that the forum is working for you. So if you could provide a few more details about what you’re doing and what happened that would help me troubleshoot the issue. Thanks.

Hi Bill, thanks for letting me know. For some reason the session page wasn’t displaying the update/changes with the link to the recording. It appears to be showing it now, but please let me know if you still can’t see it.
- Richard LivingstonParticipant
Thanks for letting me know, Tony. I apologize for any difficulty and/or confusion. I’m not exactly sure what happened, but it’s probably related to some technical difficulties that I was dealing with just prior to and at the start of the meeting. Fortunately, everything seemed to work okay after that, so hopefully it won’t happen again.

Hi Kathleen,
If you haven’t already, please review the syllabus, and then reach out to Jay to consult with him about your course project.
Regarding the third course that you want to take for credit, hopefully you received my email on January 8th with a few updates about the program. One of the things mentioned there is the certificate program group page. There’s a button/link on that page just below the listing of elective courses labeled “Select Your Elective”. To let us know which course you would like to take for credit as your elective, just click on that link/button and fill out the short form.
Here’s the direct link to the program group page: https://cobb.institute/groups/certificate-program-2024/
Let me know if you have any other questions.
- Richard LivingstonParticipant
Hi Charlie, good question, thanks for asking. I probably didn’t communicate as clearly as I could have, but when I said that you shouldn’t use the Reply function, I was referring specifically to your weekly posts that are written to fulfill the class requirement to submit a reflection or question in response to the material covered in that week’s material. In other words, you should always create a new topic for your personal weekly post, because that will make it easier for the instructor see that you completed the assignment.
As far as replying to posts that other people write is concerned, that’s different than your weekly assignment. We strongly encourage you to interact with one another, and directly replying to posts is the best way to do that, so please feel free to use the reply function for that as much/little as you’d like.
Please let me know if that still isn’t clear.
